I created this file folder game when I saw the need in my classroom for more engaging and exciting math games. Now I hear my students excited to get to the game center where they practice skills and have a great time doing it!
This file folder game is easy to set up and simple to play.
Aligned to 4th grade Common Core State Standards
The storage is simple as well!
In the game, students will practice solving rounding problems to earn cards. The player with the most cards at the end wins!

Directions(Included in product):
Place all the cards, vegetable side up, on the “draw” pile. Players will draw a card and place it on their garden tool. On their turn, the player will turn over one vegetable card and round the number to the underlined place value. For example, 264 would be rounded to 300. If the player answers the questions correctly, they may place the card in their wheelbarrow. If they answer incorrectly, the card must be placed back in the deck.
If a player flips over a rabbit card, he will eat their vegetable card and they will lose their turn.
The player with the most cards in their wheelbarrow at the end of the game wins!
