Description
I have used these questions as a refresher each week for math concepts that I have already taught my students. There are 22 pages (or weeks) and each page has 10 review math questions for a total of 220 questions.
Each week, I would give each student a new page (or week) of questions on Monday. Those ten questions were homework throughout the week and due on Friday at the end of the week. All ten questions were review for students so while they were learning new information in class, they were refresher older concepts throughout the week as well.
Although these handouts were designed for 4th grade math curriculum, these handouts could easily be implemented in a fifth grade classroom at the beginning of the year. Also, any student that has completed fourth grade but may need some extra review in math would benefit from these questions.
*In the footer on each Weekly Math, there are two areas for a parent signature, one before the sheet is graded and after. I placed this on each sheet to hopefully have the parents look over student answers and possibly help before the weekly sheet was submitted. After I graded the ten questions, the parents had to sign that they had seen the grade and the mistakes that their child may have made. Since all handouts are in a Word document, feel free to delete the footer or make any other necessary changes if needed!
