Are you using Engage NY Math? Here are vocabulary cards for 5th Grade for all of the modules. I used the terminology listed in the module and compared this list to the words contained in the Smarted Balanced item specs (SBAC). This will help prepare your students for the content and vocabulary on the summative test. Based on the released items these also work very well in preparations for the PARCC test as well.

I have saved you lots of time by creating all of the images related to all of the 5th grade content. The 243 cards in this product tie together the Engage NY math curriculum to the Smarter Summative test. These are formatted for quick printing and will fit in most pocket charts. You will have a word wall ready in no time!

This download includes 3 versions of each module: an editable Word doc, a link to an editable Google Doc, and a PDF. The Word document and Google Doc are editable and you are free make necessary changes to teach your precious children. The PDFs are not editable, but will open on chrome books and other machines.

Note: When I write these vocabulary pages, I do repeat some words from previous modules as they are appropriate. This way I do not have to remember which words to recycle and can store each module individually.

This is a companion to the quiz, assessment, and task card products that I write for the modules. I write these to align Engage NY math to the summative tests. They will also work well with other curriculums.

Also, please know that the font on some of the definitions is not very big. I tried to be brief, mathematically correct, and mathematically complete. I use these definitions more than the students, so that I can be consistent in how I phrase ideas.
