I can't differentiate easily or quickly! Math Tool Kits will solve this problem for you. Detailed informational cards remind and reinforce concepts and strategies. It is a great way to allow your students to begin to self-regulate and find resources that help them succeed. The informational cards have a combination of vocabulary, pictures, models, and strategies. I have aligned them with standards to support your current curriculum and instruction. Standards based to allow your students to master grade level standards.
Color-code the cards to allow the student to find aids easier. Print on card stock, laminate and put on a ring. I make a set of writeable cards for all my students. I fill in other cards that most of my students will benefit from. As I see individual or class needs, we add cards to the sets. Cards can be broken down by topic or continued for the year.
I also make a handful of complete sets to have in the classroom. I put one at each of my desk pods. You can defiantly have a place in the room to store them where kids can access them just like any other manipulative in your classroom.
