Description

This bundle contains 2 packets of 18 double-sided morning math work pages each with a few questions assigned per day. It is designed to spiral 5th grade math standards, so that students are encountering a variety of standards each week, in order to maintain mastery. This packet is designed for the fall AND spring semesters, beginning most heavily with place value and rounding, as well as volume, then introducing problems involving addition & subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals. In the spring, students begin to answer questions in areas like data and graphing, geometry, order of operations, fraction operations, and more. Questions are designed to mimic test-like problems that prompt an application of math standards. Complete answer keys are included for each page.

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.
