Description

In this 38 week writing activity, your students will focus on Story Elements to write stories, book summaries, book retelling, and more in a Comic Book Style format. Your students will use the prewriting form to organize their ideas using: problem, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. They will then create their comics based on 37 on-demand writing prompts with 1 customizable sheet included. There is a rubric that the students can use to guide them in the process and for you to assess their work.

You can upload it to Google Classroom and allow your students to create their comics with drawing apps and clip art or just print it up for your students for a weekly writing activity. Included is a blank form to allow for you to customize the activity.
