Are you using Big Ideas Math (Common Core Edition or Modeling Real Life Edition)? Here are task cards for 6th Grade for ALL of the chapters. Do your kids need more practice with 6th grade math content?

This bundle of 952 task cards has all of the task models to help align the students practice of the chapters material to the Common Core Standards. This set also includes tasks from 5th grade to support and activate prior learning. The cards contains a wide variety of problems.

You can use these task cards anytime to help your kids prepare for any summative test or just extra practice before the chapter test. This will give you lots of problems for intervention. An answer key is included. I have saved you LOTS of time by creating all of the problems, graphs, pictures, and number lines. These are formatted for quick printing. This is a Word document and you are free to edit and make necessary changes to teach your precious children.

I have also included a PDF version, which is not editable, but will open on a Chromebook or any other machine that doesn’t have Microsoft Word.

Task Cards can be used to play: Scoot, Fast Finishers, Scavenger hunt, Math Tub/Station, Review, Morning Work/Entry Task, With any board game (Correct roll a die and move forward, incorrect lose the turn), Or Extra Practice as a worksheet. There are lots of other uses for Task Cards. Do an internet search, “ways to use task cards”.

This is a companion to the quizzes and tests. I write these to align Big Ideas Math to the summative tests. They will also work well with other curriculums.
