Rational Numbers Unit includes absolute value, ordering rational numbers, distance on the coordinate plane for 6th grade math. This unit helps you save planning and prep time!

This easy-to-use rational numbers unit for 6th grade math includes a zip file with a PDF version and an editable PowerPoint version (Microsoft Office 365) of each of the following:
1) 19-page student packet of guided notes, fold-it-ups, and practice pages
2) Teacher version of the student packet:
- Completed notes
- Answer keys for the practice pages
- Details for fold it ups
3) 12 Exit tickets (2 for each topic)
4) 40-question unit assessment
5) Word wall file with 19 vocabulary terms for your word wall (with and without background)
* A few items, like borders on some pages are not editable, in order to adhere to the terms of use of the graphic artists who created them.
Each lesson follows the same structure:
1) Topic page with:
- I Can statement
- Guided notes and examples (some lessons have a fold-it-up or graphic organizer before the topic page, for notes)
- You Try It section
2) Practice page(s) for in-class practice or homework
