Hi Patricia, Thank you so much for your review - it's wonderful to hear that the Ratios self-paced lesson with video went so well in your classroom! Our goals are that our differentiated resources help 1) Support students on their level at their pace, and 2) Provide teachers the opportunity to provide feedback and address misconceptions effectively. Our Ratios resources is one of the many topics that our team worked extremely hard on and tested in our own classrooms! We are a team of full-time teachers and have conducted published research on our differentiated self-paced model, with results showing that this model is extremely effective to support low, medium, and high students in middle school math. We are hoping to share it with other teachers to help students move on their level, at their pace. If you are looking for more differentiated resources: There are five levels of challenge for each topic in our activity bundles (as well as assessments and an escape room). This allows teachers to give Lower students the Level #1 lesson, Medium students the Level #3 lesson, and High students the Level #5 lesson. Another option is to work your way as a class through Level #1 - 5 over the course of five days (I use this option a lot in my own classroom). Thanks again, Patricia. Your feedback fuels our passion for creating resources that make a real difference in classrooms like yours!

Understand the concept of a ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities. For example, “The ratio of wings to beaks in the bird house at the zoo was 2:1, because for every 2 wings there was 1 beak.” “For every vote candidate A received, candidate C received nearly three votes.”
Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems, e.g., by reasoning about tables of equivalent ratios, tape diagrams, double number line diagrams, or equations.
