Description

This product has 14 word problems where students have to write a two step equation and solve for the variable. These real life word problems only involve positive numbers. I have made the questions where there 7 sets of problems and each set has two word problems that have the same exact numbers, but not the same operation.

For example One word problem would have 2x + 4 = 20 and the other would have 2x - 4= 20.

I have presented this worksheet 4 different ways so that you can have options in order to meet your students' needs.

Style #1: Pairs are mixed up

Style #2: Pairs are mixed up with an "Equation Bank"

Style #3: Pairs are presented together ( 1a and 1b)

Style #4: Pairs are presented together with an "Equation Bank"
