Description
This auto-graded, digital and printable 7th Grade Rational Numbers Test - Assessment can be used as a quiz, review, class work, home work, formative assessment or pre and post assessment. Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing rational numbers (mixed numbers, positives and negatives, converting a fraction to decimal, and converting a decimal to fraction). Contains 2 different versions!
- There are a total of 11 multiple choice questions and students take the assessment online using Desmos, a free platform (or you can print). Each question on Desmos has a box where students are prompted to show their work (if you want them to). It's up to you if you want to analyze their work on these problems - the score at the end will only capture their multiple choice responses; not their work shown. Instructions are provided on how to use Desmos in the slides (from the purchase) and preview.
- Use the free teacher dashboard on Desmos to analyze student results. Easily monitor student performance in one snapshot based on particular questions/standards. See which questions/standards students need the most support in. Check out the preview for how to get students' scores.
- Use the data to determine gaps and misconceptions. Guide instruction by pulling small groups and plan your lessons strategically to meet students' needs. The assessment automatically generates a score so you don't have to spend time grading! Instead, spend more time planning effective lessons and interventions to maximize learning!
- The assessment is editable! This may impact the auto-grading feature, but you can add or delete questions. For example, you can add free-response questions where students explain their thinking or show their work.
- Printable Versions: There is a Google Drive link that should let you download the Microsoft Word and PDF versions of each assessment. ZIP Extractor may be required, a free app for opening ZIP files in Google Drive. Answer keys included.
