Subtracting Integers Lesson
This lesson teaches students how to subtract integers according to the 7th Grade Common Core Math Standards. Students will practice solving these types of problems in various contexts using all of the methods mentioned above. Students will practice solving these types of problems in various contexts using the process stated above. This lesson is part of our Number Systems Bundle, which includes 406+ pages and also our 7th Grade Year Long Curriculum.
Students will be introduced to several methods and strategies to approach the process of subtracting integers:
1. Model with Chips or Counters
2. Subtract using a Number Line
3. Subtract Integers by Adding the Opposite
