The booklet is designed to introduce students to rational numbers. It reviews the different number systems which students should already be familiar with and applies it to the newest number classification that students learn in 8th grade math: rational numbers. This product is great for use in an interactive notebook but can be used without interactive notebooks as well. It serves as a great visual for students to help keep their number systems straight. I use this foldable to lead up to teaching standards 8.NS.1 and 8.NS.2.
