This resource had good content, but the quality is lacking. The text was blurry, the math text was even blurrier. The blurriness was apparent when opening the document on the computer itself, not just when printing. The Math Type was pixelated and the lines on the document itself were not clean. It is almost like it was saved as a PDF not the correct way. Or was an older document that was scanned in and not saved as a high quality image. It did not print well for my students to read. Overall, disappointed with the purchase.

Marie...this should not have been blurry when printing, and I have never had this complaint. Please contact Teachers Pay Teachers for technical assistance as this is not a resource problem, this is a problem on your end, not mine. Please feel free to contact me at michelle@makesenseofmath.com before leaving an inaccurate review.

Know that numbers that are not rational are called irrational. Understand informally that every number has a decimal expansion; for rational numbers show that the decimal expansion repeats eventually, and convert a decimal expansion which repeats eventually into a rational number.
Use rational approximations of irrational numbers to compare the size of irrational numbers, locate them approximately on a number line diagram, and estimate the value of expressions (e.g., π²). For example, by truncating the decimal expansion of √2, show that √2 is between 1 and 2, then between 1.4 and 1.5, and explain how to continue on to get better approximations.
