Description
Dit to Dots is a unique collection of dot to dot puzzles that use repeating patterns as well as numbers to reveal hidden pictures. Figure out the core of the pattern and then keep the pattern going until the picture is finished.
There are 10 different linear pattern puzzles available, with two different versions of each puzzle, "regular" and "easy," that allow you to differentiate and meet your students' developmental needs. Click here for the complete collection. Click here for the complete collection.
For an extra challenge, the "regular" versions have EXTRA dots. Follow the repeating pattern closely, skipping the extra dots, or the picture won't work.
Practice AB, ABC, AAB, and ABB patterns that change in Size, Shape, Colour, Number, and Orientation (Direction). Use these as part of whole-class lessons, small group work, activities in your math centres, for your early finishers, or as homework.
These puzzles are fun and motivating, and most importantly, educational. Included in each package is a 13-page instructional guide that tells you how to use these puzzles in the classroom, including connections to the curriculum, directions for how to support your students when they do the puzzles, and explanations of how to use their errors to assess their needs and next steps in learning about patterns.
