Make teaching early counting skills hands-on, engaging, and errorless with this interactive Count Out Objects from a Larger Set activity aligned to ABLLS-R R5!

This resource uses a fun, visual cookie sheet theme to help learners practice counting out a specified number of items from a larger array—an essential foundational math skill.

Students will read (or be read) the prompt:
“Put ___ cookies on the sheet.”
Then, using Velcro numbers (1–12), the instructor selects the target number, and the learner counts out and places the correct number of cookies onto the cookie sheet.
