NGSS 5PS1-3 Crosscutting Concepts Scale, Proportion, Quantity Standard units are used to measure and describe physical quantities.

Directions: Write your estimation of the length (in centimeters) of each of the following items in the first column. Next, use a ruler, meter stick or tape measure to record the exact measurement of each item in the 2nd column as precisely as possible.

Kids had a blast working in groups to practice using their meter strips I had gotten from another tpt material. Have them 20 minutes and said fastest team with most right answers gets prizes!
