Description

Looking for a way to convert raw scores on homework, Biology FRQ’s, projects, or tests into an AP score with a meaningful percentage? Want to make sure that your students understand the needs of pacing and performance when it comes to the AP test at the end of the year? After opening the spreadsheet, all it takes is answering a few simple questions and you can convert raw score into an AP score along with a percentage. There is no need for understanding formulas.

By using this spreadsheet, you will be able to: (a) convert worksheet total points into an AP score, (b) use any combination of multiple choice questions, grid in questions, free response questions, or total points and convert them into an AP score, (c) turn that AP score into a relative percentage based on spreadsheet computing, and (d) re-use the spreadsheet again and again because of its simple question answer format with the magic of formulas running in the background.

Included in this file is a spreadsheet with instructions. Just open the file, answer a few questions, then enter numeric values. From there, the spreadsheet will automagically make the conversions for you. Be sure to open the file as a Google Sheet (as intended) and not an .xlsx file format.

TIME REQUIRED:

At least 1-2 minutes total answer questions, then only a few more seconds for each student’s assignment that needs to be converted.

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Computer with internet

This file contains the following:

1 page Spreadsheet (MS Excel, Google Sheet, OpenOffice Calc, etc.).

This file was originally created using G Suite files (Google Sheets), if the conversion process to another format breaks the formulas in your copy, please let me know.
