This lesson is a review of the basic properties of exponential and logarithmic functions with special attention given to those properties that are most relevant for calculus.
This can either be used as part of a summer assignment to help students get ready for calculus or it can be used as a review at the beginning of the school year. It could also be used as part of an "Introduction to Calculus" unit at the end of a precalculus course.
This lesson is appropriate for both AP Calculus AB and BC, as well as college calculus.
