Based on my years of helping children with speech delays and other difficulties I have made this highly structured set of worksheets, that can be used as a fun workbook, to guide children from hearing the 'ar' sound in words to reading and writing words containing 'ar'.
The game adds icing on the cake as it were, by encouraging the child to want to practice reading 18 'ar' words, giving much-needed sounding out and blending practice to build fluency, all while having fun!
Suitable for use with any recognised phonic programme, inc RWI, and Letters and Sounds.
