ASL Calendar Task Cards were designed for the hands-on learner who needs extra practice with calendar vocabulary. Using a calendar is one of the most essential life skills that we have in the world today. However, it is impossible to use if you do not have the vocabulary to discuss it!

Learn more about teaching calendar skills with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in this BLOG POST.

These ASL Calendar Task Cards can be used during your scheduled Calendar Time, during small group intervention or as a center.

What's included?

  • 3 anchor charts in color and BW
  • task cards for Days, Months, Numbers 1-31, seasons and Calendar words
  • All task cards provide ASL representation and 3-4 English choices
  • blank pages to provide structure for ordering numbers, months and days.

Recommended Use:

  • Print, Laminate and Cut out all the cards
  • Store in photo boxes, baggies, on a binder ring, or in envelopes
  • Provide the anchor chart for students who need it
  • Let students practice the vocabulary by circling or clipping the correct answer on each card.

Your students will love this hands on activity and will learn the vocabulary associated with Calendar at the same time!

I LOVED this resource. I was thrown in a class that is Exploring World Languages and I am new to ASL. So while teaching myself, I'm also trying to think of fun activities for the kids. This is one and it's so well priced!!!
