Description

Originally this product was created in 20-21 school year due to COVID restrictions. It has been reviewed and cleaned up, but this was the greatest thing for my team. It allowed for hands free learning for my teammate who stayed remote while the rest of us moved to hybrid/in-person learning. I did my best to re-create the ebbs and flows of walking/talking students through mathematical problems.

These digital math notes allow for remote learning, online classrooms, hybrid learning, hands free learning, and also give a way for teachers to allow parents/students access their learning from anywhere if need be.

In this file you will find an interactive set of notes that have "moving" parts that appear and disappear; this set can be edited and adjusted to fit you, your teaching style, and your classroom. There is also a set of fill in the blank notes for students to glue into notebooks and use; personally I found this helpful as it pushed my students to be more engaged and spend less time writing everything out. Finally there is a set of "plain" notes that can be printed to accommodate any SPED/ELL students, catch up new students, or help those who missed class.

Understand ordering and absolute value of rational numbers.
Interpret statements of inequality as statements about the relative position of two numbers on a number line diagram. For example, interpret -3 > -7 as a statement that -3 is located to the right of -7 on a number line oriented from left to right.
Understand the absolute value of a rational number as its distance from 0 on the number line; interpret absolute value as magnitude for a positive or negative quantity in a real-world situation. For example, for an account balance of –30 dollars, write |–30| = 30 to describe the size of the debt in dollars.
