Description

Absolute value task cards for 6th grade math (Footloose) are a fantastic way to get students moving while they are practicing concepts!

  • Students solve each of the 30 problems and record their answers in the corresponding boxes on their Footloose grids.

These absolute value task cards require students to:

  • Identify absolute value
  • Compare and order absolute values and integers
  • Apply absolute value to real-life situations

In this easy-prep absolute value activity, you get:

  • Footloose grid
  • 30 cards (a set with color, patterned background AND a set with white background - SAME set, just different options for printing)
  • Answer key
  • Directions
  • Coloring/notes sheet

These task cards are a much more engaging way to get in additional practice. There are so many different ways you could utilize these task cards and students were much more open to this activity than completing a worksheet filled with equations.
