Targeted Skill Practice

These products are designed to provide students with targeted skill practice. You may easily differentiate by giving each student a different activity. Each targeted skill is presented in each of the three formats so you may provide individual students with multiple activities for a specific micro-standards.

Strip Puzzles

Students love jigsaw puzzles, but they often take a long time to prep and cut. These strip puzzles are easy to prep! You can use a paper cutter to cut the straight lines in no time. When students are done, they flip the puzzle over to check. Each of the 8 strip puzzle set includes four unique problem cards for a total of 32 strip puzzles in this bundle!

Strip puzzles work perfectly as small group center or station activities for groups of 2-4 students.

Cryptograms

Cryptograms are easy print-and-go self-checking activities. They each decode a joke. The decoded joke serves as a self-checking mechanism without giving away the answers. Cryptograms are great for independent in-class practice or homework.

Mystery Message Task Cards

Mystery message task cards are a fun twist on "I have...who has.." that work well as a small group, station, or center activity. Each task card set includes 32 task cards. Solve, find the answer in the corner of another task card, and keep going until you decode the mystery message!

Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators (including mixed numbers) by replacing given fractions with equivalent fractions in such a way as to produce an equivalent sum or difference of fractions with like denominators. For example, 2/3 + 5/4 = 8/12 + 15/12 = 23/12. (In general, 𝘒/𝘣 + 𝘀/π˜₯ = (𝘒π˜₯ + 𝘣𝘀)/𝘣π˜₯.)
