Description

These 3 color by number activity worksheet lets students add three-digit numbers up to 1000 (within 1,000). Includes ONLY regrouping and composing. Choose between two color options: one with color matching visuals (great for ESOL students or beginning readers) and one without. A colored answer key is also included for students to check their answers. Used for students/children in elementary schools math classroom: kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. Can be used as a homework, classwork, or warm up activity with the 2nd or 3rd grade addition worksheet.

Aligned with the Common Core State Standard CCSS.2.NBT.B.7 and CCSS.3.NBT.A.2 "Add and subtract within 1000, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method. Understand that in adding or subtracting three-digit numbers, one adds or subtracts hundreds and hundreds, tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose or decompose tens or hundreds. Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction."

I was really disappointed with this resource as all of the pictures are the same. I can't use most of these as we have already done one and the rest are all the same, just with different questions, I would not recommend this resource.
