I had an adapted reading class where I used the Multisensory Reading and Spelling curriculum. This is assignment that I had students do. They had to add the suffix to the base word, and then determine whether it made a real word or not. If it didn't, then they put an x in the box. Suffixes used: er, est, age, able, s, ly, y, less, ing, or, ee.
