If you are looking for a new, fun way for your students to practice addition and challenge themselves, this is it! Letters have been assigned values and students need to add the value of letters to make words and calculate the values of the words. Many of the challenge questions are open-ended and require your students to think creatively.

- A version with numbers 1 - 26
- A version with numbers 1 - 3
- A version with number 1 - 10
- An editable blank version for you to insert your own numbers. This way you could use decimals, fractions or any types of numbers your students are working with.
- For each version there are three pages: one full page presentation of the letter values, another with 4 small versions of the large page, and a page with the letter values at the top and the questions below.
- A PDF version is included
- A PPT version is included where the blank version is editable, so that you can insert any numbers you choose

These activities have just the right amount of challenge built into them for children to be stretched but not too far. This is especially so because you will be able to use which ever of the three prepared versions suits your students best, or you can insert numbers yourself.
