Use these Pop the Balloon! Addition Games for Math Fact fluency to engage students and improve number sense in your 1st & 2nd grade classroom! The perfect math game for small group warm-ups, quick assessment, fact fluency, or more! Your students will love playing these addition math games for review and improving math fluency! Use these math games to begin your guided math group lesson, centers, rotations, whole group, or independent work too! It's also a great way to quickly assess if your students know their addition facts.

To play, give each child a card and listen to them as they start at the bottom and work their way to the top to "pop" the balloon! I like to spend up to 5 minutes of the beginning of my group time reviewing key skills with these cards as a warm-up before beginning the math small group lesson.
