Description
Save money by purchasing this bundle, which combines two sets of worksheets, one for addition facts (18 worksheets plus a quiz) and the other for subtraction facts (14 worksheets plus a quiz), both designed for first to second grade level. The worksheets teach various mental math strategies, and are ordered from the simplest strategy to review pages incorporating all the strategies.
Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.
I created these to use with my tutoring students; if they're struggling with addition and subtraction facts, their speed and accuracy improves as working through the pages helps them learn and practice the strategies they missed.
While this can be used with actual first and second graders, it was designed for students several years older who are working below grade level. The size and amount of writing on the page indicate this; if using with students at grade level, they may need assistance with the directions.
