This sorting activity is specially designed for students learning and mastering their addition facts up to 20.

This packet covers:
- 20 pockets and
- 121 addition fact strips

To prepare this fun activity:
- print the stripes (I recommend printing the stripes onto color paper and color coding them by sets. For example, all of the 5s facts are blue)
- laminate the stripes to make them sturdy.

- print the pockets (OPTIONAL)- You can either copy the template onto white paper and let your students color it, or copy onto color paper.
- make the pockets

Directions:
Students will grab a stripe, figure out its sum. Let your kids sort the stripes by solving the math facts. At the end they will need to place the stripes inside the correct pocket.

Kids will love pairing the math fact with the matching sum.
