Experience
I have been teaching in the Missouri Public School System for going on 15 years now and have taught, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Intermediate Algebra and Calculus during that time.
Teaching style
I use a lecture based class design with a mixture of worksheets, scavenger hunts, task cards, google forms, pick two assignments, math libs, boom cards, kahoot!, gimkit, escape rooms, etc. Pretty much you name it and I use it with my students. I want them to be engaged with the content while actively practicing and the last thing I want is for the way they are practicing to get stale.

My name is Amber, and I serve as a Curriculum Director and Testing Coordinator in Missouri. I am passionate about creating high-quality, practical resources that support teachers, engage students, and make classroom life a little easier.
My experience in curriculum development, assessment, and instructional planning has given me a deep appreciation for resources that are both effective and easy to implement. I love designing materials that save educators time while supporting meaningful learning experiences.
When I’m not working on curriculum projects or creating new resources, I enjoy traveling, reading, tackling DIY projects, and spending time with family. My husband and I also enjoy spending time with our dog, who keeps life entertaining and full of adventure.
