This 20 Page lesson on Rational Exponents aligns with High School Algebra Common Core (CCSS) N-RN.1. (HSN-RN.A.1)
It begins with a review of integer exponents and contains several problems on negative and zero exponents before presenting rational exponents. Students are shown examples of rational exponents being converted into radicals and radicals being converted into rational exponents.
Several thought provoking questions are also asked. A short 10 problem homework assignment is attaches with an answer key. In addition, a Speed Drill (Easy) of 15 questions with an answer key is also included.
