Here is a great way to assess your students' skills with Work Word Problems. This digital resource which can be used as a Quiz, HW, or Paperless worksheet is designed with Google Forms™ which means it is NO PREP for you and the assignment will be graded automatically for you.

What student in any Algebra based class doesn't need more help with this topic? Every semester I get request from my students for more practice with this topic. Usually it is just before the PSAT, SAT or ACT as they are studying and came across "Josie can paint a house in 3 hours, Mario can paint the house in 4 hours...." you know the rest.

This resource can be used any time just to challenge your students or used with other types of applications. There are 8 problems. The problems include a variety of methods to solve these problems. Please look at the preview to make sure they are appropriate for your class.

Since Google Forms are editable, you can add or delete questions, change question format, edit questions that are not images, or change the points values before sending. Detailed Illustrated directions for editing are included, including directions on how to make multiple versions of this assignment for your classes, and/or to differentiate.

Note: You and your students must have a free Google account in order to access the activity but do not need to use Google Classroom to use this resource.
