Description
Writing, translating, and evaluating algebraic expressions is the focus of this easy-prep math game!
- Great for centers, small group activity, or a whole-class game:-)
With 36 question cards, this math game offers students a choice of question types:
- A "truth," which is a true or false question about translating algebraic expressions to words, phrases to algebraic expressions, or determining whether an algebraic expression was evaluated correctly
- A "dare," which includes more challenging expressions, phrases, and problems to evaluate.
- The different cards have different point values for students to earn. Students record their answers and points on their recording sheets.
These cards require students to:
- Translate algebraic expressions to phrases
- Translate phrases to algebraic expressions
- Evaluate expressions given a value for the variable
This easy-prep resource includes:
- Detailed directions
- 36 cards (a set WITH background AND a set WITHOUT background - SAME set, just the option of a background for you when you print them)
- Recording sheet
- Answer key
- Blank cards in case you want to add your own questions
