Perfect for outer space themes, this set of counting mats and number cards are ideal for Homeschool, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Special Education students practicing counting and number formation. These activities are simple to set up, and so much fun for students!

These activities are highly versatile, and can be used in so many creative ways!

Number Formation Practice

✨With the counting mats, students can use a dry erase marker and trace the corresponding number at the top of the sheet, on the UFO, and on the matching spaceship card.

Counting Practice

✨Use the blank mat with the spaceship number cards in a “flip and count” game to determine the number of manipulatives to add. Choose from counting 1-10 or 1-20, or print both sets for easy differentiation! You can also use a dice to determine the number to count in a “roll and count” game! This is a great option for counting higher than 10!

✨Use the numbered mats with or without the number cards. For this activity, you can count with plastic figurines, mini erasers, Unifix Cubes, Pom Poms or whatever creative manipulatives you have available! Alien counters are also provided!

✨Print two copies of the spaceship cards and incorporate them into (or out of!) a sensory bin for a fun number matching game!
