Description
This lesson introduces rich vocabulary and reinforces the skills of Alliteration, Rhythmic Pattern, and Rhyme. It includes step by step directions, encorporates a short cartoon video clip, an assessment option, and a classroom management idea. On top of all that, it's fun! I used this lesson with my second graders and they have been talking about it since. We watched the clip a few times since it's only 39 seconds.

Absolutely love this for my third graders!
I wish the video was clearer, I will probably end up using a different video that will be more age appropriate for my third graders (I can't imagine fifth graders would watch strawberry shortcake either...). I hope this seller rejigs and reposts
I will look into a better video. The new "Strawberry Shortcake" changed his song, loosing the rhymic pattern at the end, but I agree the quality on this clip is poor.
This was disappointing. There was a typo in this "The peak it the top of a mountain" instead of IS, and the video is poor quality and hard to hear the alliteration. It looks like it was videotaped off a TV or something. I know it is free but still maybe requires a review before posting.
Great!
I'm glad you liked it!
What a creative way to teach alliteration. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I was looking for something to help me teach this standard and this gives me a great way to introduce some of these skills.
So glad you found this useful!
