Product Description- This product contains a highly-detailed, comprehensive lesson-by-lesson overview of chapters 1 through 3 of the Weather Patterns unit through Amplify Science.

Among other things, it can help a student access all of the important concepts they should have gained throughout the unit. This is done by outlining:

1. each phenomena investigated during a particular lesson
2. the observations/data they should have collected, and...
3. the conclusion they should have come to (in the form of key concepts).

This resource can be used by a student to:

• review for a chapter quiz or unit test
• better understand the connection between a specific investigation question, phenomena-based activity, evidence collected, and the conclusion they were supposed to arrive at (in the form or key concepts).
• understand all the knowledge and concepts they missed due to an extended absence

This resource can be used by a teacher to:

• fill-in learning gaps during small group or individualized instruction
• learn the unit in its entirety in one easy-to-use packet

I made this product in response to my noticing over the years that while many students benefit from Amplify's "little-by-little" approach to learning science concepts, other students forget what they learned in days prior no matter how much built-in review there is. This will help everyone make better cross-lesson conceptual connections.

Generally, this resource aims to help all learners make the connections they should have been making all along from one lesson to the next as their knowledge and understanding builds within a chapter and between chapters as well.
