Description
Looking for an activity or lesson to help improve your student’s ability to think mathematically? Want to improve your student scores on standardized tests? Try the strategies in "A Different Approach to Problem Solving" series. This lesson will take the student through a step-by-step process to arrive at their final solution and can be adjusted to your student's grade level. Topics covered include graphing data and interpreting the result. Use each lesson as a cooperative group experience, an introductory lesson to a topic, or do some classroom brainstorming. The activity make a good lesson for basic skills as well as preparing your student’s for standardized testing. One of many possible solutions is provided.
