This Ancient Greece government simulation activity was a really effective and engaging way for my students to understand monarchy, oligarchy, and democracy. My students stayed actively involved throughout the lesson, and the simulation helped them clearly see how power and decision-making change under each system. It led to great discussion and made a tricky topic much easier for them to grasp!

It was a little dry. My students were engaged for a while, but it was simply too long and not engaging enough to hold their attention.
