Description

This math journal is designed for students to use daily in addition to math centers and your current math curriculum. This journal contains word problem activities. Students are to create their own word problem when given two numbers, an operation, and setting or students will solve a given word problem using part, part, whole and write their equation. The journal contains 20 pages and each page contains a student “I can” statement, math activity, and CCSS met. This journal is for the month of May with a summer theme within each of the pages.

There are two books printed per page and formatted so you can print, cut in half, and then staple. The journal can easily fit into a folder pocket or plastic tote for storage. Although the journals are aligned with second grade CCSS this journal can be differentiation for first and third graders.
