Description

Teach 4th grade students about the box method multiplication, or area model strategy. These practice worksheets help them multiply and divide 2 digits by 2 digits, 4 digits by 1 digit, and more. Use these print and digital worksheets to help students master the area model and partial product strategies. Also, teach the area model for long division and partial quotient strategies. These fourth-grade math worksheets are perfect for students who are learning to multiply and divide using multi-digit numbers.

✨ With ten unique practice worksheets (included in two different formats), it will be easy to differentiate your instruction! Provide students with the scaffolded pages to guide them through the process of multiplying and dividing. Give advanced learners the pages without hints to see if they can multiply and divide independently. Use the provided template to create even more practice pages!✨

➡️ Also included is a PowerPoint for assigning these multiplication and division problems to students digitally. It works great for projecting on screens, too. Students can discuss multiplication strategies for solving each problem and you can add your own slides as well!
