Teaching style
My first students were my stuffed animals and dolls. Eventually, I became qualified to teach my younger brother 🤣. Even as a child, I had color-coded folders full of neatly typed lesson plans.
Most recently, I've taught special education preschool through fourth grade, including gifted and talented classes in four different states. I love designing educational materials that save teachers time and help learners grow. 🍎
My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I employ various instructional techniques to engage learners and facilitate their understanding. I use visuals and open-ended questions whenever possible.

I love creating in many forms! When I'm not working on graphics design projects, you can find me in my sewing room. Few things bring me as much joy as a full bobbin and a stack of quilting fabrics. I write and illustrate children's books, enjoy playing board games with my husband, and love baking chocolate chip cookies. My most recent hobby is designing t-shirts with my Cricut and heat press.
