Description
This is a virtual escape room created with Google forms. There are 6 locks with multiple problems to solve that directly coordinate with the lessons from Module 9 of our textbook. I have also included a printable paper copy of the questions so that students can keep up with their answers as they go through the locks. Once they finally “escape”, they will write down the secret code and share it with their teacher. There is an answer key included. I used this as a fun review before the Module test.
Skills covered in this escape room include:
- Area of a rectangle with given side lengths
- Order from least to greatest
- Area of irregular shapes (combined rectangles)
- Find missing side length with given area or perimeter
- Area of rectangles with missing regions
- Area word problems
**This escape room was made specifically to go along with the Into Math 4th grade Module 9 textbook. Most problems could be considered universal to common core.
