This activity is a great way for students to practice counting and number sense skills. Students match a ten frame, numeral, monster face , and number word cards for the numbers 0-10. Option 1: Simply print pages 3-6 and cut apart. Students match the number word, numeral, monster face, and ten frame. Option 2: Add velcro to each blank spot on each monster face strip. Then print the ten frame, numeral , and number word cards. Students match the cards to the correct monster face.
This activity is great for practicing sorting long vowel and silent e words. Fold an oversized piece of construction paper in half. Cut four flaps on one side. (I do this part for my students.) You can use either sorting label set (pages 3 & 4) on the front flap. Students cut apart the pictures and glue them underneath the correct flap. If you don't have oversized construction paper, regular paper can be used!
