Description

Great introductory center to prime students for qualitative observations during science inquiry or layering it into their writing as sensory details. Concrete way to practice identifying properties and using descriptive details.

Print the following shapes in color, cut out, and laminate for a great science and math center. Or have students sort the shapes in different ways and determine the property. 

Included shapes: triangle, square, circle, rectangle, star, pentagon, cylinder, cube, rectangular prism, oval/ellipse, rhombus/diamond, trapezoid, sphere, pyramid, triangular prism, cone, quarter, nickel, dime, and penny.
