Here's a great math project to do at the beginning or end of the year. A wonderful introduction to coordinate graphing.
Students think back and list significant positive and negative events that have occurred in their life, give those events coordinates (age, degree of impact), plot those coordinates (on quadrants 1 and 4 only), and end up with an attractive display of the highs and lows of their lives. 3 student samples of final products are included.
