Description

This resource is designed to be a SUPPLEMENTAL FRAMEWORK to what you are already teaching from BARRON’S E-Z ASL TEXTBOOK (THIRD EDITION) and is not intended to be a replacement for an in-class ASL Instructor.

Teacher notes and main classroom material is presented in PowerPoint format, feel free to pick and choose which sections of the master slides you want to use and when you want to use it. At the end of the deck are additional slides available for editing – use these slides to insert additional teaching material as you see fit for your ASL class.

This lesson outline includes a fingerspelling exercise, grammar rules 6-10 review practice, homework ideas along with hints and helps to support textbook learning, textbook practice opportunities, and classroom activities with the goal to support further ASL and Deaf community learning. Worksheet printables and answer keys are also included, as needed, for each lesson outline.

Download formats included: PPTX & PDF (need ppt? leave a comment in the resource Q&A section)

Please note, gifs or videos for this lesson are not provided. Naturally, teachers should be able to demonstrate all the signs and dialogues from the textbook, you can also ask the students to model the signs as part of their learning process.
