Basic Character Relationships
Share

Description

This graphic organizer is for grouping characters based on their general relationship to the protagonist: antagonist, ally, or other. It is especially useful as a preliminary organization tool when studying literature with lots of characters. I use it with my students to keep track of characters in The Count of Monte Cristo, for example.

It can be laminated and character names on slips of paper can be placed in the groups, or character names can be typed/written into the spaces (or in a notebook based on the visual. Lots of possibilities!
