Students will design a street map for a fictional city. A scale model of the city will then be constructed using nets, with real-world surface area and volume of select buildings calculated. NOTE: For projects constructed using a standard-sized poster board (or similar) as the map base, a scale of 1mm:1ft is strongly recommended.
