In my high school special education classroom, I'm always trying to come up with new ways to show how important skills being taught can also be applied to life after graduation. Especially during virtual learning.
Being able to answer basic math problems is an important math skill. I decided to come up with vocation scenarios for my students to read, to reinforce the importance of these skill.
I created 25 easy to read, task cards for students to practice their basic math skills - in "real world" vocation scenarios. These task cards are perfect for students to complete independently, or to complete together as a class.
